Delete your Plenu account

You can delete your Plenu account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it — in-app (fastest) or by email request.

What gets deleted: your profile, all meal plans (today, tomorrow, history), all favourites, all prep reminders, and all device push tokens. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Option 1 — Delete from within the app (recommended)

Open the Plenu app on your Android device.
Sign in with your Google account if you're not already signed in.
Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation.
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap Delete my account.
Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.
Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately. You'll be signed out and returned to the sign-in screen.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app (for example, if you've uninstalled it or lost your device), you can request deletion by email.

Send an email to delete@plenu.app from the Google email address you use to sign in to Plenu.
Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
Include a brief statement confirming you want to delete your Plenu account.
We will process your request within 30 days and email you a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Please note: Emailing from an address that does not match your Plenu account cannot be processed, as we can't verify ownership. If you've forgotten which email you used, try signing in with Google — the account picker will show which Google addresses have been linked to Plenu.

What we do not delete

The following data is not associated with your Plenu account and is not affected:

Data held by Google as part of your Google account (nothing we can delete on Google's side)
Data in our server backups, which are automatically purged within 30 days of deletion

To also revoke Plenu's permission to access your Google email and profile:

Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions
Find Plenu in the list of third-party apps
Click Remove Access

Can I re-create my account later?

Yes. If you delete your account and later change your mind, just sign in again with the same Google account. Plenu will treat you as a new user and set up your account with default preferences. Your previous meal plans, favourites, and reminders will not be restored — those are permanently deleted.
